These were taken in my favorite place in the world - Walt Disney World. Here we have the Green Army Men from the movie "Toy Story" showing off some of their fancy marching steps during a parade at Disney MGM.

  1. Hi,

I think you've chosen your pictures very well. That's a whole different view to steps. I like it!

  7. Nice take, looks fun too although I'm not sure I'd be too happy having my face covered like that.

  9. TN Chick was right. That most certainly is a different take on "steps" than hers (and mine -- which should be up before too long!). Also, congrats on being named the Photo Hunter of the Day! :)

  11. Very cool! I bet those outfits are really hot and uncomfortable in the summer months, though.

  16. I think I might get just a bit creeped out seeing my childhood toys come to life....

But... great take on the theme!

  27. Funny, that's kind of the first thing I thought of when I read the word "step"; like a step dance! Great shots!

  30. That is a clever take on the theme. :)

I can't help but feel sorry for those soldiers though. I don't think I would like stepping about completely covered in green plastic. ... I'm just sayin.

  31. I was at Disney World just about a year ago for a convention and though we did see a parade, there were no marching green men in the one we saw! The make-up on those men is amazing!

  32. congrats on good choice of pics and matches the theme

  38. I am so glad you told me what they were. It has been so long since I went to Disneyworld... way before Toy Story... and let's just say I was confused.... now I get it!

  46. Now I had "thought" about using DANCE steps -- but if I had it would not have been as cool as the Toy Story soldiers! Verrrrry unique spin on the theme!

    ReplyDelete
  47. That is so fun! I hope it wasn't too hot for those guys!

    ReplyDelete
  48. How cool is that? I like how their outfits make them look like they're actually made out of army-men plastic. :)

    ReplyDelete
  49. What a cool picture! It would be fun to watch those army guys in action. I love the Toy Story movies. Great idea for the "steps" theme.
