This is the reason I'm participating in Blogathon 2006 to help raise funds for the ASPCA.
A little over a month ago, I had to have the last of my "original three" cats, 16 year old Zig, put to sleep. I wasn't planning to adopt another cat right away, and was considering fostering a cat for a while first, before making a decision to adopt. Long story short, at a friend's suggestion, I looked at the cats available for adoption on Petfinder.com, saw Theo's picture, and knew I had to go and see him.
So, the next day, I went to the ASPCA, met Theo, and it was love at first sight!
